I know there's a way to ref. it with a link, but I forget.

It only works for a REinstall of a new NT over an existing
NT.

There are pitfalls, such as inadvertently replacing a needed
DLL upgrade during the new install. Another minus is you
preserve the crummy application setup you had before, including
it's registry pollution. Getting rid of that is one of the
real benefits of starting from scratch.

BUT, to quote a reference I forget, although I can't really
recommend lying, cheating, stealing, smoking, drinking, and
debauchery, hey, it's worked for me <GG>.
