What should happen with the spinoff is that NAVR retains its 40-50 percent stake in NetRadio as an asset that shows up on its balance sheet, but which no longer acts as a drag on its operating results. NetRadio just gets handled as shareholder equity and no longer affects the operating numbers. This is a "best-of-both-worlds" situation for NAVR and all the other companies that are looking to spin off these Net IPOs.

OK, that's great, but why not keep 75% and only spin off 10%? Wouldn't we have the best of all in the world? And if they are only keeping 40%, they are running the risk of someone else will become majority holder and takes total control of Netradio, then the NAVR new CEO is even more stupid than I think he is.
