Paul, I wasn't sure if Egghead was still in business. They closed all their stores in the Philly area a few years back. SUNW is a fomidable company especially with it's JAVA environment, really a defacto std., and it's server business. It would be great if SGI could step up and go head to head with SUNW, but I don't think it'll be soon. A time might come when SUNW falls from favor and SGI is going strong, but for now SGI might be considered a second tier vendor. SGI has some great stuff, but SUNW has built an empire while SGI has floundered these past few years. SGI is playing catch-up and empires aren't made over- night!
