Marty: I am not enthusiastic about the deal to issue additional shares in order to acquire an additional 20% of the Anguilla resort. I believe the transaction was made at fair market value ($2.4million, which is one fifth of the appraised value of the resort). There is more growth in store for the shares (I think) than for the real estate. I also believe the resort is owned by related parties who want a part in anticipated share value increase. I don't like it one bit, but, call me cynical, I not surprised when the insiders in small caps do some things to their advantage. I keep an eye open to be able to spot if they become too greedy. If I think they try to make their money by the special transactions only, rather than by raising the share price through improved results, I bail out. In this case, it is my opinion that they are positioning themselves for share price increases, and therefore, I am willing to stick around to participate.
Then again, I may be totally out to lunch. Just my opinion.
Cheers.
