I agree with the blowout factor (though I don't think that this game will be one). However, I doubt that the city factor makes as much of a difference with today's Super Bowls as it did in the past. People plan Super Bowl parties often without caring who is in the game. My point was only that I have serious doubts as to a few ratings points being the reason for Apple pulling their ad. This thread has a tendency to ascribe brilliance to every move Apple makes (when sometimes other explanations may be more parsimonious...such as a delay in the product)
