Interesting Arik,

So I guess you see this tech cycle will hit again this spring??...only bigger in magnitude than the last 2 years?
OR is this just pure cycle, gann or Elliot work?

OJ...what's your call on the chips here?

Arik, I am inclined to agree with you that we are seeing a top in the making. Whether your time frame and price level is going to hold up remains to be seen.

I am not sure what will trigger it off -- but something will, for sure. The interesting thing about the situation in Brazil is that the reaction of the Brazilian market is identical to what happened in Thailand after the baht was devalued -- a sell-off and then a strong rally in the Thai market and later on came the melt-down.

I recently posted to Michael Rich -- before the recent sell-off -- that we should see a decline and then another decent rally and that is the one that should be sold into as one tries to unload trading positions that one is long. Selling into strength is always preferable to bailing on weakness. It should be done on a dollar cost averaging basis over the next 4-6 weeks IMO. But you should be aware that I have tended to be early when it comes to exiting the market.

BTW, what does it mean in terms of your call for the market if the time frame/price level are exceeded by a significant amount?

Re my current position in the market vis a vis the system that I use, I have been having a problem with accessing SI and so Scott has sometimes posted when I go long or short.

>>and then 20+ years of bear.<<

That's what I call a long range forecast!!

The rest of your scenario seems plausible to me ...

Someone else likes your plan as well, unless of course, this was you scaling into your complete put package.
