Mad2, Sounds like you're pretty satisfied with Datek, for the most part...There aren't any perfect brokerages out there...Just some that are much better than others...If margin is something you don't use, then you must be content...I think the use of margin is very dangerous, myself, and brokerages that impose huge margins make it that much more dangerous...Using your own money is the best policy...The last thing you want is a brokerage firm pushing you on margin calls with oppressive percentages, when a stock is temporarily down...They can ruin you by forcing you to sell out at the worst possible time..JMHO...
