I did not mean to accuse you of
being religious if you take
offense at the "R" word...I tried
to write up the most respectful post
I could! I guess I will have to try
harder not to step on toes.
I found Mike's post very innappropriate
go back and read it again--I think it
is not too bad.

I am very sorry you misinterpreted
what I intended to say...which is
that it is a delicate issue, and if
you want to debate, lets set up a
thread for the topic.

I used to be a confirmed Lutheran and
was even an accolite for quite awhile!
So I certainly do not have anything
against religious people...I have alot
of respect for spirituality--I just don't
happen to be a very spiritual person anymore
(that I am aware of).

Once again, my apologies if I the post was
too reactionary and got you all wound up.

I'm waving a white flag on the religious/ethical debate. We have a good thread going and from personal participation on other threads in which these issues were debated....no one wins. Without my giving away the private information about an individual, Harold V is the person that is best positioned to discuss this issue as it relates to the use of human fetal tissue. It is an issue that will be addressed, and sadly it will be one debated for a long long time.

On to another topic and that is your news about dropping biotechs from their research agenda. I'm afraid that we might see more and more of this...and again I cite LGND as a stock that everyone reports on, but no response in the stock. Another company I could mention is AORI(personal friend was a co-founder), and look at the heavy hitters who promote their stock to no avail.
