Home Depot, Circuit City On Art Samberg's List At Roundtable - Rpt

newsalert.com

<(NewsTraders.com)-- Home Depot (HD) and Circuit City (CC) were two stocks highlighted by money manager Art Samberg at Barron's 31st annual Barron's Rountable.* >

<- In addition to low interest rates and a "flush" U.S. consumer, Samberg really likes Home Depot's new format called Expo Design Centers. The Expo format packs in a large number of showrooms that cater to new homebuyers. The Expo showrooms work well with the company's existing Home Depot stores while simultaneously delivering higher margins. Samberg acknowledges that the stock is a bit expensive trading in the mid-50s, but he thinks it will earn $1.40 to $1.45 this year, much higher than the consensus estimate of about $1.30.>
