Victor,

Your conclusion concurs with my sentiments exactly. Except, I don't have any cash left over to buy more CPQ and I don't use margin on principle...

The news (a couple of posts before yours) about LU, CPQ and Agora might be the news that was rumoured yesterday. Seems more in line.

However, I tend to think that it is not news enough to substantially move CPQ. I think you are right when you say that yesterdays move was probably due to leaked news of MSFT earnings.

CPQ has been extremely good to me since August last year <VBG>

victor,

Your comments hold considerable merit; however, at the time Faber made his report CPQ was trading at $45 and low change (down ~$1). Within 10-15 minutes of his report the stock started moving, breaking $46 very quickly, and then on up. Coincidence? Possibly. However, this is a phenomenon I have little belief in. All FWIW.

Thing is Victor, I was watching the stock in real time, and it turned 'right' when the story went on the air. The stock went from down 3/4 to up 3/4 in a flash! Maybe a coincidence, but the timing was pretty interesting!!

John
