Good to hear from you again. I hope you are feeling better soon. A comparison of the grade of a type II kimberlite and a high grade gold vein is like comparing apples and oranges. Actually its like comparing kimberlites and orangeites (orangeite is the name for type II kimberlite proposed by Dr. R. H. Michell). Kimberlite and orangeite are mineralogically different and petrogenetically distinct rock types. SNAP LAKE HOST ROCK FOR DIAMOND ISN'T KIMBERLITE. Now that everyone is reasonably comfortable with the notion of a cone sheet, I think its time for this revelation.
