I agree with you but it seems alot of people are having trouble with the large stone size distribution.
I don't know how many tons ekati mined befor they got the 47 carat lets just say it was 1oo,000. That doesnt necassarily mean they will get a 47 carat stone every 100,000 tons.
In WSP case, this dyke seems to go for large stones, this makes grade predictions trickier.
I think they are going to find some real whoppers but how many tons have to be proceesed to get them????
I think the main point is WSP has something different a dyke vs a pipe and this makes comparing it to pipes difficult.
Some pipes have lots of 1 to 2 carrat diamond but hardly any big stones.
This dyke has a reasonable number and value of small stones and then the bigger ones. How big will they get. Chances are good their are bigger ones waiting there to be proceesed.
Looking forward to the next bulk sample and its results.

JUst checked in my documentation and found no trace of 'orangite'..

so what's the story here? why dont they call is wisperite or camselite
like is customary ??

dont whant to be a downer here but you know when a dude comes up with strange new rock names makes me think of the old 'snake oil'

can you shed some light on this 'new' rock type ??
