Laguna,

This is the first development by a land-based
wireless operator with a satellite venture. And
no other than Sprint PCS will have a Vodafone
presence in the U.S. (for the commodity user).
NXTL is obviously the cream of the crop high-end
wireless company, but Sprint PCS, selling through
literally 1000s of Radio Shacks, will be cheap
enough that it will be hard to say no to. The
huge bandwidth they have distinguishes them from
even Airtouch. And already, their quarterly ads
are higher than Airtouch' best ever. Airtouch'
best domestic quarterly ads were about 200,000
I think. Vodafone has 5 Million U.K. subs..
