Tenchusatsu - But I think that you *MUST* agree that AMD is closer now than last year at this time.

I do, however, agree with what I think is your basic point - that in attempting to close with INTC in the CPU market AMD is making innumerable errors of announcement, and perhaps manufacturing judgement which continue to be extracted in credibility.

Ten,

AMD is steadily growing a strong customer base, and product line. In the big picture, the short term neuroses of investors and analysts mean pretty close to nothing.

"You run faster."

AMD is running faster than Intel, and may even catch or surpass them this year in CPU performance.
