I agree that Largent was overbearing. But he ended his speech the same way Clinton did, referring to God a half dozen times. And you still like Clinton?

Republican response
I missed most of the Jennifer Dunn response as I had to pick up my daughter from a school function. I saw Largent though. From a theatrics point of view I thought it looked like one of those info-mercials where they want you buy forclosed houses or something. It had that slick but empty feel to it. ...win back some of their prior supporters . He was preaching to the choir, it makes me wonder if the republicans have given up on their prior supporters and are worried about their hard-core base. If G.Bush JR or McCain wins the nomination they may not vote at all.

The "Ken and Barbie" routine was ridiculous to say the least. It looked like a late-night infomercial -- completely artificial, and utterly devoid of passion or conviction, especially in the case of Barbie.

As for Ken, we now know that atheists and agnostics have no place in the Republican Party (if that indeed was unclear so far!). Well, anyway, that's a good way to begin the process of reconciliation which, according to Ken, is so important if we have to move forward! ;-)
