It can certainly go either way.

I feel they're doing exactly what they have to do in order to be the best. Opening new revenue streams. Diversifying.

Concept cars cost millions and never make it to production. It's the ideas that stem from them that make the investment worthwhile. I don't know that this atCost thing will work, but I have a good feeling that it will lead to many other possibilities. At the very least it'll attract some attention!

As for barriers, what ever happened to superauction.com ? It was almost identical to Onsale, but it didn't make it (it is now, in fact, simply an unused name at some web hosting company). They had the infrastructure but they lacked in the customer base and the merchandise. Onsale has the infrastructure, the customer base, and the merchandise. On top of that they have a PR campaign kicking off which certainly can't hurt.

Don't forget ONSL's many partnerships and relationships. Among all of the other E-commerce vehicles out there, I don't believe any are as diverse as ONSL.

Maybe I'm wrong, I sure hope not!

Scott.
