I like the potential of NAVR, and of course it is a no-brainer that it will go up when the IPO is officially announced, but I don't think that holding thorough the earnings report is such a great idea.

It seems like meeting or exceeding expectations is not good enough with investors anymore on stocks like these, they drop on the earnings announcement. Doesn't make sense.

I also doubt that the IPO announcement would be before the earnings, so why hold through earnings? - Unless you really think earnings will be great.

Well, I've bettered my holdings by buying on the dips over the past few weeks, but I really missed the boat this morning....
I was going to sell at the bell but thought that I might miss a major play since I had to go back to work (that damn inconsiderate flu bug went away...does't it know I NEED to stay home more?) I figured we'd have at least 1 week day and didn't really think the Greenspan speech ould help US in any way. I almost SHIT when I saw how far it had come down.....
I guess we can't blame ALL the bad things on the MM's...the market failed us too. It bums me out when posters say "good buying opportunity" as I am now totally vested in this stock...(I hate seeing red in my portfolio) Navarre had BETTER announce the IPO soon or next month the ticker will read, "Mysterious fire engulfs Navarre HQ, CEO &CFO still missing...."
I'm sure patience will pay here, but I will not try to find the top to sell....this few weeks has been tricky at least......
