If Primestar Shareholders were in the driver's seat in this deal they would never accept this pay as you go structure. The conversion process will take years to complete. In the meantime, operating expenses and interest payments continue.

The $500k for the high-power frequencies will not even cover the Company's debt.

I just don't see how this type of deal structure could be good for Shareholders. To me, it sounds like Primstar has thrown in the towel and has succumbed to the demands of the Bondholders (who have first rights to any proceeds).

I hope that I'm wrong, but I will not buy back in until there is some clarification. I do not want to see anyone who bought today lose money. I hope that it does go higher on the news, but I just don't think it will, based on the sketchy details you posted.
