How fast can the market be if we are talking about options in an obscure company? As far as I could tell on my PCQuote realtime display, the stock had not traded yet, but there was a bid and ask for that option. Normally, a bid and ask appear when they are ready to trade. They don't seem to be under the same scrutiny as NASDAQ market makers.

Michael, what is RAES? Also, are you talking about trading online? When I have my broker on the phone, my orders usually get filled at what I ask for. Maybe I havnt tried to many volatile stocks lately. I appreciate your experience and insight.
