<<>>also thinking of switching to 100% dell for Feb earnings release...thinking if msft/intc up strong--their stuff is inside dell.

Catcher, It's so obvious that I'm amazed dell hasn't made a run to the 90s already. I loaded more dell onto my wagon yesterday, and it now represents 35% of my portfolio.>>

Which brings up an interesting dichotomy from the INTC/MSFT earnings reports. INTC stated that one of the big boosts to its earnings was a mix shift that favored the P II over the Celeron, which would point to a superior quarter for DELL. But MSFT, in its conference call, stated that the biggest reason for its upside surprise was strong sales in the sub 1K market, which points away from DELL.

I guess it isn't so obvious to me. Anyone have an answer to the conflicting information?
