I had the same concern TL. There are many vendors using the echelon system so just what does alya have that gives them such a lead. It's my understanding that the 18 month lead is concerned with the connection to Windows NT. Hello, Bill are you home? the neuron chip was important to Motorola and as a result, alya. In other words, alya can use the toshiba chip as well as M chip. It appears that M is becoming a super system solutions provider. And I see the M/alya relationship growning as M looks for expertise. However, I won't be surprised to see Microsoft show interest in alya as control systems gains in popularity. Neil
