Walter, being an outsider and without in depth knowledge of the biz, I am not the best person to respond. However, I think Mr House has nailed down his relationship at merger time. The way in which NT is shifting gear to internetworking and House having the title of Prez are indicative of House's chance to get to run Nortel Networks someday. Rumor was that the reason House left Intel was Grove has told him Intel needed an operational guy to run the co. So he jumped to BAY when BAY was floundering. IMHO, his blending ability and his engineering background should give him a lot of mileage. best, Bosco
