Sorry Downsouth, misunderstood you. I checked out Intel's website yesterday after the announcement. They use the same technology that CPQ is using, it is licensed from a company called Tut Systems. The difference is that CPQ will offer the product built into the Presario, while Intel is offering a standalone product. Hence, CPQ should capture new users, Intel (and others) existing ones. The only question is whether CPQ will offer the product as a standalone kit. So far the answer is no.

PS - This area will also get crowded rapidly, I have read that 3Com will be offering a product, and Cisco has it's eyes on home networking in a big way. I'm interested in this myself, I just don't know whether I will go the phoneline route or wireless. I would prefer wireless, but it is significantly more expensive per PC...
