"But they're not both on the boards ... the final price is uncertain ... if they exchange yesterday's close (I don't know about today) , you LOSE 50 cents per share for each Zulu (about 17% for math tyros) ..." HD you know thats a load of BS .I have owned several stocks that merged with another company and what you say was not the case.Eather one of the stocks could rise or fall to the others price. It is up to the MMs and their bunch. When ESVS was up you had another spill didnt you? Why do you care about my investment?

Actually ESVS was higher than ZULU a couple of times yesterday. So who's to say what the price will be. My bet is that they will be exactly the same.

The Pre-proxie states that the conversion will occur immediately following approval of the acquisition. If that is not fair warning then I don't know what is.

You said it would be dangerous to hold ZULU stock overnight in the event of conversion.

Isn't that true with any stock on any board in any market?

Most news comes out after or before market hours on all stocks. You are inferring that ZULU is the only stock that this occurs to. It's not.

In your example you are overly cautious. You must be selling every stock you own every evening and buying back in the morning.

You shouldn't be playing with stocks if you do. But if you do and you still make money, please tell me which stocks you are in. I want to buy some.

Concerning a notice prior to conversion, you said........

>>>if they would promise to give a couple days notice before conversion and
after approval of the merger, of course that would eliminate the concern for
shareholders now blowing in the wind (as usual) ... I haven't seen such an
undertaking ...<<<

Just as I suspected! You're not doing any homework and just throwing things out for everyone to read.

It says in the Pre-proxie that the conversion will take place immediately following the approval of the proposals.

The actual Proxie Statement will give the date of the Shareholders Meeting, ergo the vote on the proposals, ergo the date of the conversion.

One will have plenty of time to decide what to do with their shares before the meeting occurs.

You also said in that statement.............

>>>that would eliminate the concern for shareholders<<<

Now that I've 'splained it to you in the prior post, will you admit that the concern for shareholders has been eliminated?

No, wait! You've already said that it would be eliminated.

You may reiterate that statement if you wish.

It would be the professional thing to do.
