Lucky Lady,
We are all biblical christians to the limit of our understanding. It's interesting to see what God has said about Himself on the subject of who He is. I don't think you will argue that Jesus said many times that, "I and the Father are One." Also In Exodus 3:14 Jehovah establishes a name for himself, "I AM", when He said to Moses that Moses should say that I AM sent him to them (the Israelites). My bible defines this as also being YHWH=I AM. In John 8:58 Jesus calls Himself "I AM". The same name as the God of the burning bush. Indeed, in John 1:1 we read that Jesus was with God at the very beginning. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." And on down in verse 14 it says "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us" That is Jesus Christ, God, I AM, YHWH. You know Jesus said "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father." For further definition of Jesus as God read Phil. 2:5-11. In Revelation 1:17-18 Jesus declares, "I am the first and the last, and the living One,"

Then we also know the Holy Spirit is from God with out quoting a lot of scripture. But the bible says God has seven spirits. Rev. 1:4; 3:1. Do these seven comprise what we refer to as the Holy Spirit or is the Holy Spirit one of the seven? There is no explanation.

As far as the trinity doctrine goes there is a foundation for it. I think it is an imperfect explanation of the relationship of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. But it's all there. We will know more when we get there.

maranatha, come Lord Jesus!
