** OT ** I agree with your comments re: Quayle (frightening to have such a dull-witted man as President). But are you discounting Elizabeth Dole? The fact that she is not in congress is a big plus because she stays away from the potential voter backlash on Clinton impeachment.

Bill Bradley could be a huge plus for the Dems. This guy is a very bright, anti-establishment centrist and an ex-jock to boot. A Gore Bradley ticket could be formidable.
