Received today: NEWS RELEASE JANUARY 21, 1999 1999 EXPLORATION PROGRAM ABOUT TO COMMENCE Mr Dale W. Hoffman , President of JNR Resources Inc. (the "Company"), is pleased to report that fuel and equipment is now being mobilized over a recently constructed winter road from Stoney Rapids to the company's Newnham Lake Uranium Project where, on completion of preparatory ground geophysics to refine targets identification, drilling will commence. Progress reports on the Newnham Lake Project, as well as on the other uranium properties held in the Athabasca Basin, will be released as soon as relevant information becomes available.
