Sextant Ventures has and is continuing to work on a web page on JNR Resources. The address for this page is connect.ab.ca The purpose of this web page is to try and centralize or catalog any and all pertinent information and links on a particular stock. Sextant has undertaken this venture for a couple of reasons:
1. Either Sextant or some of its members or both have a position or are contemplating taking a position in the stock..
2. In this game, information is King and the Internet offers the non-institutional investor a means of obtaining information that will probably be later recognized as one of the biggest influences in leveling the playing field for small investors, if you read the Post or Globe you will have noticed that the Internet gets mentioned more and more each day, albeit right now they just poke fun at us believers and call us rumor mongers and a waste of time, One only has to have followed the recent handling of the BreX saga by the media to realize that they would never participate in spreading rumors or playing on peoples emotions. . The Internet is amazing in that information can be distributed and gathered in almost an instantaneous manner and at a negligible cost. Anyway enough of the sermon, what we have before us is a tool that we can use to better our chances of success in this game. What we will do is post all information and links that we have found or have passed on to us by you the reader to the web for all investors to share. The key thing to remember about this game is you have to be able to sell the stock to someone else to make a profit so if someone is interested or you want to interest someone in a particular stock it would be nice to point them to a place that has gathered the information in central location. people that have just discovered the stock or are curious will not in all likely hood go through and read all the threads on SI, the BreX thread is approaching a couple of thousand and sometimes you have to read a lot of threads about people saying hello to each other or other nonsense before finding anything of substance. I would even go so far as to say that some individual threads could be bookmarked on the web page..thoughts on that.
