An estimate of valuation? I returned today after owning this thing last year. I bought last year on the announcement of these movies. Now that Speedway Junky is actually coming, I'm back in. I have searched high and low, and have found nothing but praise for Speedway Junky. It's still early for reviews, but the star power in this will draw in a big opening weekend. I see where the preview is February 11th. If this thing opens in enough places on Valentine weekend it will grab a big teen audience. There is no doubt in my mind that Speedway will draw in enough new stock buyers to bring the price back up into the mid teens again. As has been stated, the top movie in the country today is a trashy teen flick--and Speedway has better stars and a more compelling story. It's tough to put a valuation on MVEE. If Speedway makes it to the top three movies in the country (I believe it will) then MVEE is worth a lot more than 6 cents. A lot of the profit for a movie comes in the video sales and rentals. Likewise, I think Speedway will do well. What's important to me is that we are now beginning a cycle of revenue for MVEE, both from new movie releases and then 6 months later from the videos. It should make for a profitable 1999. I doubt even an accountant can figure out the P/E on a movie company. Most movie companies don't bankroll their own movies, they just act like the general contractor. They have to locate and pay the following: the person with the idea, the person who bankrolled the movie, the actors, the producers, the editing staff, the theater owners, the video store owners, etc. A clever accountant can make it look like a movie that cost $20 million to make and grossed $200 million at the box office actually lost money!
