bernard,
heck i won't check those #'s. they look to great to change. the bears can check them.
don't forget to add some for all the other royalties they get, graphics cards, commo, etc. ceo said originally it would be another 50%. backed off of that last month though. nevertheless i think it will be substantial.

Probably don't know what I'm talking about, but with
quantities increasing, and effectively no cost of sales, since
this is a licensing situation, shouldn't gross margins increase?

Bernard, I belive Morgan Stanley ( the original underwriter for RMBS ) is projecting $1.00/sh for y2000. What hasn't been focused on is the following statement they made when they downgraded RMBS from Outperform to Neutral;

" We have maintained our earnings estimates, as well as our five-year compound growth rate of 75%."

Do you know what happens to money when it compounds at 25% for five years? Now plug in 75%. We're not talking a double or a triple. We're talking about a huge move. Hope this helps put some perspective on what is about to happen to this business. It is a fundamental shift in the way the computer is to be build for the next generation. And, its all being driven by daddy big bucks...INTC. It doesn't get much better than this. Best regards.

Bernard,

Make it even simpler-

Samsung estimates '99 RDRAM market to be $2.6B (Fiscal probably, but in any event)

$2.6B x 1.75% x 20% Profit Margin = $9.1M over 23.4 shares out = $0.39 EPS (FY)

Back out a qtr because RMBS FY ends 9/30 and we are probably still around current estimates of .30-.34 EPS this RMBS FY.

Regards,
