Doesn't seem like much pattern today at all. Instead a bunch of indecision. I suspect many got long on the open to close the gap and then got short. However as the day progresses and the cash gap is a magnet we can't seem to get any serious action to the downside. So I suspect we pop up as the shorts get tired and end up closing their positions, but we don't quite reach the cash gap. If we do, it is too obvious and everyone would be short. So I think we don't reach the cash gap and tank the last hour.

Just a guess. Bonds up so the buying there is strong and with the Fed draining it just might be the order of the day. Short around 2:45 to 3:00 est.

Thoughts?
