Not only is VVUS not going up, What you are loosing is opertunity costs. Almost every other stock is double what it was in OCT. I do want to see VVUS reach a fair price, But the cost of that is very high. VVUS not going up means you are actually loosing. In fact most mutual funds are UP 50-100% from their OCT 98 levels. So just moving your money to a mutual fund would have ment you doubled your money while in VVUS it did not change. So someone like me can still buy VVUS at 4 1/2 and still make money in the market. I am not saying move on, which is pretty darn tough when you are so much under water, but holding onto this dog is a total waste. I dont think I will ever recover my losses, But I sure can reduce it somewhat by taking opertunities. You would think that someone would be down the last few days who is not short, But would you belive that by strategically taking positions I am doing slightly better than even as of today compared to last week? You have kept this optimistic perception on VVUS after all this time, but dont let that optimism let you loose out on everything.
