<In short the lowest price on pricewatch is an unreliable indicator of CPU prices, and I guarantee you, the K6-2-350 was below $130 for the entire month of November on pricewatch.>

Whenever I quote prices off of Pricewatch, I usually take the price that is 10 spaces down the list, instead of the lowest price at the top. Or at the very least, I make sure to say that the prices were obtained from Pricewatch, so that people can make up their own minds.

Petz - Re: " Paul, you are a fool if you think you can really pick up K6-2-400's for $153 as shown on Pricewatch.com! "

You are a fool for claiming I can't !

Two sources are listed and both are selling the 400 MHz K6-2 CPU for $153.

That is the CPU - AMD makes nada on a FAN - so why do you circumnavigate the issue and obfuscate reality with issues of the cost of an external component that AMD has nothing to do with?

The CPU sells for $153.

Your spurious arguments about shipping charges are equally ABSURD. Does AMD get a portion of that revenue that a distributor charges a customer for SHIPPING ?

Get real.

The CPU sells for $153.

Accept it.

Your frenetic denial is ridiculous.
