Resulin will not be history in the next six months, IMHO. There are nearly 1.3M users of the drug and I heard that some of the individuals who died using it would probably have died if they just walked down the stairs in the morning. Several of the patients were over 80 years old. How long are you supposed to be kept alive with synthetic pharmaceuticals? I know this sounds like a harsh thing to say, and I'm no Jack Kevorkian, but when you're over 80, have a host of other ailments that could put you under the ground whether in a few weeks or in a few months, exactly how does that justify the FDA removing a drug that when properly prescribed, provides beneficial treatment to over 1.3M users? There is a moral dilemma involved, to be sure and I just want the readers of the thread to recognize that far more people have died in plane crashes, from auto accidents, from lightening strikes, from dog attacks, from falling off step ladders, and snake bites in the last year than from Resulin.

From the activity in WLA on Friday and the strong buy recommendations issued by six or more of the major brokerage houses recently, they appear to be in agreement with my analysis. Why would there be such strong capital inflows by the mutual funds and pension funds if their analysts believed Resulin was going to be removed from the market?

Look for Lipitor sales to grow to $2.5 - 2.8 billion during 1999. WLA can't produce the stuff fast enough and IMO, that drug will be the elixer that boosts WLA to over 100 during the next 12 months.
