Some extremely large blocks (i.e-113.2K) at the end and with a nice price jump ... will it hold after settlements ?? Maybe !! Michael

robbie... About 1 1/2 months ago when CPQ began its rise and was getting upgraded, a female analyst, possibly from PW, said in a report that CPQ would release earnings in late January and would follow it up with a meeting for analysts the following Friday and that BOTH events would be positive. This deal has been in the works for a looooong time, has been well thought out, and IS A DONE DEAL. Perhaps they teased with it a little, had some minor wrinkles to iron out, or just plain changed their mind on the timing of the news release(thus the "talks have stalled" baloney). I feel like this is gonna be BIG and I'm not worried at all, as the the Friday AFTER EARNINGS meeting was staged weeks ago. El

I assumed they were refering to next friday. It'll be a one two punch next week. Earnings will come in well above street, but in the middle of the whispers. Then on friday they announce a content/highspeed/altavista initiative with Time Warner. Stock Price? Spikes to 57 next friday, but closes at 53 in late afternoon selloff. jb ps.
