That's why we are here Plees. To agree to disagree. Appreciate your comments. What concerned me was 1998 sales were down relative to 1997. Advertising and other items that stimulate sales were also down to improve the bottom line. Corel needs the introduction of a new product to keep growth continuing. As it stands with the plan for the next few years, I feel that Corel's growth will be flat even if they continually improve the bottom line.

Actually, what I was warning people about was the speculation that Corel would go to $9 or $10 in very short term. Some even predicted the same day. I was trying to tell people not to believe the "overly optimistic" who were predicting a huge increase in price immediately. Turns out that many of the investors here interested in buying Corel for the long term would have been able to pick up their shares for considerably cheaper.

We will have to wait and see what happens next week but if the market considered the news really good, this stock would not have dropped down that significantly in 2 days. I feel that Corel will find support in the $5 range and is probably a decent buy in this range. Of course and as always, this is simply an opinion.
