Mr. Piercy will be in a better place before Easter. (He better hope he gets a pretty cellmate.)
Mr. Rogu will be in court.
Compact Connection will be a distant memory by the ides of March.
Amazon.com will be in question by May.
Time Warner will regret buying CDNow, a.k.a MusicBouelevard by June.
Tsig will thrive and go forth without much more than a hiccup.
New markets will be on the horizon.

But where is the PP formula.

<<I hope you were asking that question in jest, right? You do realize that the entire MusicCard concept (the entire CCI subsidiary of TSIG for that matter) is based on Mr. Piercy's marketing and business plan. >>
True, but what is he doing now for the $250,000.00 a year? Just because you buy a company's assets doesn't mean you have to hire anyone from the company. How much has CCI brought in since TSIG purchased their assets? Not much, according to the order numbers from the web site, anyway. It seems that Mr. Piercy brought a lot of baggage along as well. Does Mr.Piercy have a contract for a certain length of time? His options are for five years. Is TSIG paying him a quarter of a million for five years as well? REW, if you're there, please ask these questions. If Piercy is in charge of the CCI web site, I would say that TSIG is not getting value for money. Was he involved in any of the deals made recently? I didn't see his name mentioned in any of the PR's. Basically, I would just like to know what he does to justify a salary of $250,000.00. I think it is a fair question.

Thanks for the insight. Do you work in the legal field?

Dave,

Nice post and I agree with you.

To All:

I also sympathize with any dealers who may have been ripped off and would lean toward barbaric punishment of the offender(s). But I do not see the burden of reparation being borne by TSIG shareholders. The agreement between TSIG and CCI seems clear in its intent to avoid the shift of any liabilities from CCI to TSIG. I'm a nice guy, we're all nice guys, but c'mon -- let the real offenders pay.

Also, I'm unclear as to the number of affected dealers. $7,500 has been bantered around and it may not seem like much, but is this per dealer? How many dealers were there? 10? 50? 100? The dollar figure can grow quickly.

Finally, on the subject of $7,500 as "the" figure, I'm also unclear. From this section of the site written by Mr. Robert Engbers, it appears that the real number is $2,500:

pweb.netcom.com

Maybe I'm misreading something?

Deepest regrets to former CCI dealers -- you got a raw deal and I sincerely hope you can recover your money from the guilty party. But not from me. Why hurt innocent TSIG investors?

Best Regards,
Hardrocker

David,
I just read your post re: the old dealers....brilliant. I'm sick & tired of this small group of people trying to intimidate TSIG & it's shareholders. If they have a case & have won judgements against Piercy, take action to collect on it. There is nothing we can do to help them & to keep showing up trying to damage our investment is certainly not going to further their cause either.
