But how do you define a 'Cherry' ? I have heard at least ONE GREAT thing about just about every driller out there: This company has the best technology, That company has the newest most powerful rigs, This company is best at finding oil, this one just acquired a bzillion acres that is oil-rich for next to nothing, it seems ALL have something to sell........

David, That sounds like a good investment strategy and should pay off with a number of these service stocks like WFT, RON, BHI, HAL, and SLB, as they tend to"whip" a little less than the drillers. Lower overall return but more reliable trading patterns....
