Coug... thanks for the reply.
I deal normally through e-trade (Power e-trade), but also have accounts with Bank of America, and new accounts starting elsewhere on-line - which broker (the House?) do you deal through to get a chance at these?

I appreciate the feedback.. Thanks.

Paul:

Good post. If it's a hot IPO the chances of guys like us getting ahold of stock pre-IPO is very small unless you've got a friend who's a trader/broker.

If we can get our hands on it in the IPO, we probably don't want it, ie. it's not hot enough.

Brokerage firms reserve the hot IPO's for their best clients and institutions.

Tut should be hot. Solid product which is very practical and hot on the cutting edge of technology. We're using it with several of our clients.

COUG, you may want to check out another hot DSL related company (COVD) that went public last Friday just to get an idea how these IPO's can react. Check out their chart so far. IPO price was 18. First after market trade was 28. Closed at (I believe) 45. On Monday it rocked as high as 61 and has settled in the 50 neighborhood for now.
