I think that Valence is concentrating on laptop batteries and these are being shipped in volume. The cellphone lines are being brought up to speed and these will be shipped soon. Motorola has received preproduction samples of cellphone batteries from various vendors; we have an idea who many of these are. The technology is evolving and future shipments from Valence will be in response to customer needs and concerns.

Dark Green: I spoke to Ed Myszka of MOT early this past week. I asked directly if MOT was working with Valence. He said "We are working with everybody". I then asked about the Micron Go Book about which he was quoted in an MOT press release last April, where it was stated that the Go Book was configured to accept Lith Poly. He confirmed that. (as did Micron, who I also called.) He added that "lith-poly could very quickly be incorporated" once they had a commerical battery. His quote from Barons regarding the costs of Lith Poly vs. Lith ion is certainly intersting. Can anyone please comment?
