Jean, if your list is right, You own the three major "Gorillas", Intel, Cisco, and MSFT. Most of us who follow Moore's book, "The Gorilla game, have concentrated our portfolios in these three stocks. I had poor luck getting a good return on potential "Gorillas", Like Rambus and Seibel, because the street won't support the small caps right now. The "Gorillas" are "rulemakers"; they set the rules and own their marketplace.
The "Kings" don't set the rules, but have such a dominant position in their Industry that they have better margins and rule their sectors. Dell and AOL are Kings. These definitions really only apply to the "Tech" sector. The point of the first part of the book is that you can make more money by holding "Gorillas" long term, because they will do better than the street expects. The last part of the book was on picking new Gorilla candidates, and, although interesting, this section hasn't made people very much money lately.
