Many good and valid points. I don't think China will devalue soon - the dollar has recently devalued 30% relative to the Japanese Yen. Also mild improvement in S. Korea and Taiwan are plusses for the regions vitality and relative currency valuations.

The FD and other world-wide authorities will keep flooding the supply of capital in hopes of a "soft landing" to the liquidity crisis through modest growth.

But I do agree that the markets and Internet stock fever are indirect beneficiaries of this huge liquidity splurge. I think the flood will continue to lift the markets for a while longer.

What will eventually bring it down to earth a bit will be lower US growth rates, continued pricing pressure combined with higher wage costs. I don't think a major crash - like 50%-75% on the entire market - is likely to happen because I am optimistic that the world's economy will grow.

For the near term, excess liquidity continues to be a positive.
