I came across an interesting mutual fund, Munder NETNET. Its holdings can be reviewed here: netnet.munder.com. Symbol is MNNAX. This fund is among the top performers so far in 1999.

Looks like a good broad-based tech fund with a Net emphasis. You can buy it through E*Trade's mutual fund service for no fee if you hold at least 90 days.

I don't hold NETNET and don't plan to since I already have some of their holdings and want to play this sector on my own. But I pass it along for those who are worried about stockpicking among the Internuts. In fact, most of their Top 10 holdings are not pure Internuts at all - INTC, MSFT, CSCO, etc.

Dale,
Thank you so much for your detail lesson/epxerience about trading w/ L2. It is fascinating and no wonder daytrading w/o L2 like a blind swordman in a battle field.
For position or long term trading probably no L2 is needed.
Do you think it is much harder now to make money on longing blue chips except some nimble enuf to buy at dips in a correction then sell on the peak of an upbeat day. My thinking is that market if rises very little compared to couple years ago.
