Dan, Thanks! I'll check it out. Frustrating day installing services, protocols, adapters, then taking them out again, over and over, each with a boot.

I had one more odd problem: I put in network cards into the old and new machines and bought a small 5-port hub. The cards went in fine, but I'm getting an error log entry saying the "Server" service can't start because of insufficient memory! 128MB and it's insufficient! This causes a cascading series of errors which result in not having a network. Any clues?
