AMZN and Net stocks

I will try to put my 2 cents here. Lot of the individual boards I have read are saying that there is a conspiracy theory going on as far as internet stocks are concerned and all the big guys are involved in it
that is one big baloney! The reason these internet stocks are up is because of day traders like us. Who trade the hell out of these stocks in one day. Yes we are all greedy and that is the essence of it there is nothing wrong with it. Are these stocks overpriced? Yes if you apply Peter Lynch's philosophy about buying stocks but if you apply the Keith Benjamin Philosophy no it is a strong buy!! who is correct
I don't know, I will continue to trade it as long as there is volatility. All I know is that I hold no position in internet stocks
when it the closing bell rings in New York. Why? because I am scared to keeping them in my portfolio because who know's what will happen the next day.
If anybody remembers 1995 and 1996 two things happened the collapse of
internet stocks and the collapse of iomega,PRST and others. The second part of the hype was created by a single gentleman out of ?? everybody used to call his hotline and buy iom and trade the hell out of it then one day the stock collapsed from 55 to 35 and then to 26.
Who were the culprits CNBC and Barron's? They kept joking about valuations and how inflated they were and people kept calling them idiots and manipulators. Guess What? They were right.
Seems like it is happening again! and again everybody is calling them idiots! if trend is correct these internet stocks will fall again but guess what? they are specifically targeting one stock and that is AMZN. Not Yahoo and Not AOL.
I bought some AMZN on Friday and sold it by the end of the day it was nice to make some money. But I did buy some puts and bought some calls
so I acn make money either way. The stock will make a huge move on Wed and either it will be very pleasant or very harsh. I am more tilting towards puts than on the call side.
Long term I will not hold any internet stocks because my personal style of trading does not permit me to buy any of them for long term as they have too rich of a PE for me.
Good Luck to ALL. Hope everyone makes money.

PS.
Jan, Intel could be in trouble on Monday as bloomberg reported that they are losing market share to AMD.
