Vincenzo, happy to be able to have a civilize conversation.

As far as i know since the announcement on November 02 1999 of the
Rage mobility(TM), no wins. But on the other hands, no wins by NMGC
either. The new notebook design cycle will probably start soon with
the new Intel chip for notebook, so we'll have to wait and see. The
funny thing will be the market reaction to the wins, last year i have
seen funny thing , when a competitor were steeling an ATI wins (in the desktop)the stock was going down and when they were getting new wins it was not doing a lot.

GOOD LUCK

Marc

RE: ATI design wins

ATI's chip is still relatively new. It takes some time to announce design wins because they can't announce until the OEM announces their notebook.

Is there a spring refresh for notebooks akin to the desktop refresh?

ATI claims their "embedded" solution is cheaper. Anyone care to comment?
