Of interst also is the dertimination of income versus capital gains

In effect daytraders and anyone playing these markets for short term profits are not supposed to claim the gains as capitla gains but rather they must claim them as income. This means no exemption but does llow you to claim all associated costs of trading auch as SW membership, Internet costs - if you are using it for trading - and other asccoiated costs - CCA on you computer etc.
