John: You missed the point of the analogies I provided. they were identified as a preemptive strike in anticipation of the argument you try to make. The examples I used involving 1. Apple and 2. Microsoft were examples of little guys who prospered in the face of deeper pockets and ingrained sector leaders. Nokia/Motorola, I suppose, is another distinguishable example. After serving up these examples I distingusihed them from the lith poly case, largely because there is no blind side. The big guys have been aware of lith poly for some time and, whats more, have the same Bellcore technology with which VLNC began. VLNC has no "blindside" angle here. The underdog argument is stale with VLNC.
