Glenn, First unless they've changed recently Costco does not take credit cards. They're using small margins and don't want to pay the credit card companies any grease, and they love to tell their customers that.
Secondly, Bezos's data-base is a niche product. Obviously on-line buyers only. Now e-commerce business's would love to have that, just like Bezos loved to find out about me, through Aol.
If e-commerce is the 'Thing'? I think your discounting the value of what Bezos is building.
Glenn, you must get off books. Its what almost broke you, and me too.
The only thing that you and I have been right on since last may, and that's it's stock price. Never his ever changing business model.
