Look to the left for your hatred and their behavior towards Reagan. I don't "hate" Clinton. He's got problems and I hope he deals with them. Those who defend him now have had to literally tear apart half the presidents of the United States oblivious to the fact that you don't make an average man taller by cutting off the giant's feet. Until his own party has the fortitude to tell him the jig is up, he apparently will admit to nothing. Thus his defenders do him great harm as an individual. I don't understand why his supporters don't see this.

From my side of things, conservatives gain by his staying in power. He will be forced to take responsibilty for a potential YK2 recession. If he would just fess up I would be satisfied. But to leave him get by with this kind of conduct without admission of the lies, no.

You can't say I have a double standard because if it had been a guy I voted for and supported, the only thing that would satisfy me now is resignation.

As for the "Christian Right" that is a label afforded by liberals who hypocritically point to how they only care for the children and go ahead to say how conservative legislation is starving people. Can you point to individual "rightwing" Christians and say they do nothing for the homeless, orphans, pregnant women with no place to go? I don't think so. Many from the "Christian right" I know sponsor children overseas, give regularly to disabled Veterans, etc.

Sure, many people go wanting in this sad world. Even Jesus said you will always have the poor among you. But at least the conservative answer is to plink his own coppers into the Salvation Army bucket or the charity of HIS/HER choosing and not do as the liberals do--pass legislation to force everyone else to support their own causes.

So drop the issue of hatred with regards to Christians because it doesn't wash and all most of them want anyway in this case is a president who tells the truth under oath and keeps his hands off the office help. I don't think that's asking so much.
